James H. Rhee, M.D.
Non-Operative and Interventional Management of Spinal Disorders, Physical Medicine, and Rehabilitation Electrodiagnostic Medicine
Dr. Rhee was raised in Ohio but spent a number of years in the Bay Area, receiving his college degree from the University of California, Davis. He graduated from Loyola University, Stritch School of Medicine, in 1991. After completing a General Surgery internship at Foster G. McGaw Hospital, Illinois, he fulfilled a three-year obligation in the US Army. He then completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.
His practice is centered on the non-operative management of spine, sports and occupational rehabilitation. He employs noninvasive and minimally invasive techniques to optimize pain relief and increase function.
He is Board Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is an active member of the Spine Intervention Society, North American Spine Society, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Dr. Rhee lives in the Tri-Valley area with his family and is active in a variety of outdoor activities.
